Often paired with large pivot entry doors or doors that include dummy knobs, a ball catch will hold a door in place without having to initiate a deadbolt or latch. They are usually installed on top of a door and are especially common for interior French doors or double dummy closet doors. With an overall height of 2-1/8", the Ball Catch can easily be a subtle and hidden component or a notable detail on your doors. Our Ball Catches are available in all 12 of our bronze and brass finishes and come supplied with strike plates and finish matching screws.
