MORTISE ENTRY SETS

Emtek’s heavy duty mortise lock boxes include:

  • UL Listed mortise door prep ANSI A115.1
  • 180 minute fire rating
  • Deadlocking latch bolt
  • Forged deadbolts with anti-saw inserts
  • Anti-pick security latches
  • Anti-friction triggers
  • Stop and release buttons in the F20 function option
  • Function (F13 or F20), backset length and handing are required on all mortise lock orders

SANDCAST BRONZE

Our collection of Sandcast Bronze knobs, levers and cabinet hardware options are made of a metal alloy that consists mostly of copper and is made to patina over time, creating a "living" finish that showcases exposure and wear patterns for a unique appearance.

The Bronze Age, a historic period between 3300 BC and 1200 BC, was significant for its use of this material.

FUNCTIONS

  • F13 Mortise

    • Operates as a standard keyed lock
    • Key outside operates both bolts
    • Inside lever retracts latch and deadbolt simultaneously
    • UL180 minute fire rating
    • Heavy duty lock body
    • Forged deadbolt latch with Anti-Saw inserts
    • Anti-Friction latch trigger
    • Deadlocking latch bolt

     

     

  • Dummy

    • Dummy sets have no latch and require no bore hole
    • Surface mounted to the door
    • Often used in conjunction with a passage or privacy set for double or french doors
      • Acts as a jamb, with a strikeplate for the other door's latch to fit into

  • F20 Mortise

    • Key outside operates both bolts
    • Inside lever retracts latch and deadbolt simultaneously
    • Always locked from the outside
      • Includes a mechanism to temporarily override the outside lock
      • Activated by pressing the release button on the latch plate
      • To cancel, use the stop button or project the deadboltUL180 minute fire rating
